Important Reminders When Sending a Packed Lunch
When sending your child with a lunch from home, please remember to make things as easy as possible for your student. This includes sending items that are simple for your children to prepare and including all utensils and cups they need to eat and prepare their lunch. For example, if you send a bag of ramen noodles, please also send the bowl and fork needed to prepare and eat them. Our plastic utensils are intended for students who buy hot lunch. Prior Year Meal Benefit Expiration
If you haven’t completed a Free and Reduced Meal Application for the 16-17 school year, please do so immediately. Prior year benefits expire on September 29, 2016.
Prior year meal benefits are extended for the first 30 days of school or until a new Free and Reduced Meal Application is submitted. If a new application is not submitted beforeSeptember 29, 2016, your prior year benefit will expire and your student’s meals will be full price. Meal applications may be submitted at any time during the school year.
