Lenski received a $1,000 grant for the
PE department which was used to
purchase 1 landing mat and part of a
second landing mat. The rest of the
second mat is being funded by the
Littleton Stride Award. The mats will
be used in the gym with the climbing
ropes, cargo net, and balance beam,
replacing the worn mats that have
been here since 1979. PE standards
addressed with this grant include:
muscular strength and endurance,
coordination, balance, rhythm and
social emotional learning.
