To help incoming middle school students become familiar with musical instruments, the middle schools listed below will be holding instrument screening sessions. The remaining sessions, open to all incoming sixth grade students, will be offered on the following dates:
Powell Middle School: Wednesday, April 4th, 2018 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
Newton Middle School: Tuesday, April 10th, 2018 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.
At these sessions, students will be able to try out different band and orchestra instruments. This evening is provided at no cost to the student. Students are encouraged to attend the screening at the middle school they will attend. The screenings are provided as an opportunity for students to try out several instruments, in order to make the best selection for their music class.
