Way to go Lenski! With the efforts of the students, families, and the entire community, Lenski raised more than $90,000 to go toward the PTO's ongoing support of Lenski's staffing budget. This support supplements our district-apportioned funding and improves Lenski's ability to provide differentiated, small-group learning for ALL Lenski students. Through all of our efforts, Lenski is able to provide a learning experience that far exceeds what the district funds!
The PTO would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to all parents, families, staff, and community members that donated to support the students and Lenski! We also want to thank the countless volunteers that have offered their time throughout the past few weeks. You helped us ensure everything ran smoothly and in a timely manner! Additionally, we would like to recognize the following individuals for going above and beyond!
Deb Kennedy and Sarah D'Orvilliers - organizers extraordinaire! These two amazing women organized everything from creating the graphics and communications, to the run and the t-shirts, to the pep rally and coordinating and organizing volunteers for prize week and much more! They have been amazing and we can't thank you both enough for all of your hard work, time and effort that went into pulling together such a successful event!

Final Call for Pledges & Donations
Based on several requests from parents and students, we decided to keep the online link open until Monday Sept 30 end of day. • Starting Monday Sept 30 - School wide (everyone!) - wear your Hat & or PJs to school !!
• Tuesday Oct 1, we will be serving Kona Ice to the entire school (everyone!). This will be coordinated with the lunch schedules!
• Raffle items - plan is for Wednesday Oct 2
• Rest of Prizes will be delivered Thursday & Friday to the classroom (Oct 3 & 4)

Lenski Awarded Blue Ribbon 2019
Last thing ... Did you see it ?? Lois Lenski was 1 of the 5 Colorado Schools to earn the coveted Blue Ribbon Title in 2019. Lets give a huge Shout out to Dr DeSpain, the Teachers & the Administrative Staff who make Lenski so special. Lois Lenski is 1 of 5 schools in Colorado. Each school that earns the award is either among the highest performing schools in a state or among the highest performing in closing the achievement gap.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Volunteering at the Fun Run is a great way to spend a lovely morning outdoors with your child. If you can't volunteer, we are also looking for a few simple donations. To volunteer or donate, sign up here.

Lenski PTO is excited to present Lenski’s Rock Star Fun Run! Join us Friday, September 27th between 8:15 am – 10:25 am and cheer on your kids as they run, walk or skip for a great cause. The fun run is our biggest fundraiser of the year, with all funds going to staff the PTO's ongoing support of the Lenski staffing budget, supplementing district-appointed funding and allowing Lenski to provide the specialist teachers to supplement the classroom experience with differentiated, small-group learning for ALL Lenski students.
