We were so fortunate to have author Dav Pilkey visit Lenski yesterday. He gave a wonderful presentation to the students about the importance of reading and perseverance in pursuing their goals, especially in the face of rejection. His discussion was engaging and insightful.
We had an overwhelming response to the book orders. Thank you so much for your support of Lenski and our local bookstore Tattered Cover who was instrumental in orchestrating this visit.
Our library staff has over 200 signed books to get to their new owners. We are asking for your patience as we carefully review each owner and sort the books for delivery to the students. To be fair, we will deliver all orders on the same day. We hope to have this completed by the end of the week. Thanks again!
