Dear LPS Parents and Guardians,
During the month of October, Littleton Public Schools is observing Colorado Safe Schools Month. We encourage the entire community to help us promote safety and wellness. Please see the following information for special district-wide activities and resources for parents.
School Climate Survey (October 16 - November 18)
The Comprehensive School Climate Inventory is a brief 15-20 minute anonymous survey of students in grades 3-12, all parents, and all school-based staff to gather perceptions about the school environment. This includes questions about safety, relationships, engagement, support for learning, etc. We believe that gathering feedback about school climate is important to guide our efforts to provide supportive learning environments for all students. The CSCI survey is administered electronically and the results are completely anonymous. Students will be provided time during the school day the week of October 23rd to complete the survey. Parents will have an opportunity to complete the survey via a web link sent by your child's school. If you have children at multiple schools, you can choose to complete a survey for each school or choose the school where you would most like to share your voice. After the survey is administered, the data will be compiled and shared with each school community. Please visit the LPS website for more detailed information about the survey content including opt-out procedures. We encourage your participation and support in this important endeavor and we look forward to reviewing this important feedback.
