Field Trips & Other Activities

Goddard staff knows that not all education happens within the walls of the school.  Therefore we offer some wonderful out of the classroom experiences such as Outdoor Education, Challenge Course, and other field trips.
Check out some of the details below.

Outdoor Ed @ Ponderosa

We are so excited to announce that sixth-grade students will participate in an outdoor education experience. All sixth graders have the opportunity to attend an extended-day adventure to Ponderosa Retreat in Larkspur, Colorado. Students will attend on either Monday, September 18th or Tuesday, September 19th.

Activities will include ropes courses, ziplining, fire safety, archery, hiking, and other team-building activities.

Please look for an information packet with all the forms, you need, to complete and send back with your $70.00 registration fee. Scholarships are available if needed. Please contact our Bookkeeper,

Sarah Spratlen @ 303-347-7872

6th graders will come to school at the regularly scheduled start time of 8:20, go to their ELO for attendance, load the buses, and head to Larkspur, Colorado.

They will return between 6:30 - 7:00 PM, assuming I-25 traffic is not an issue.  A call-out will go to parents so they can greet their students upon the student's arrival back at Goddard. All students will need to be picked up at the school.  There will be no buses running students to neighborhood stops when we return.
