Attention, Goddard families! It's time once again for Literacy Night, where the Language Arts department cordially invites all families to come to the school to have pizza for dinner, after which you will rotate through informative stations that highlight the importance of developing our students' Reading, Writing, and Vocabulary skills.
Being successful in the 21st century requires a keen understanding of literacy, so let us give you tips, tricks, and resources to help you navigate the world of words with your child. Come hungry for pizza and thirsty for knowledge!
WHEN: Tuesday, February 13 from 6:00pm -7:30pm
WHERE: Pizza and refreshments will be served in the school cafeteria for the first half hour, then attendees will be split into three groups for the remaining hour to rotate through literacy stations in the building
WHAT: Learn from Language Arts teachers about the importance of Writing (6th grade hallway), Vocabulary (7th grade hallway), and Reading (8th grade hallway)
WHO: Goddard students and any members of their families
HOW: It's free! Just bring yourselves! Come take advantage of this wonderful opportunity. We just ask that you kindly RSVP by visiting the school website to fill out a short Google form to indicate how many members of your family will be attending. This will help ensure we have enough pizza and refreshments for everyone!
Mark your calendars for February 13 from 6:00pm-7:30pm and we'll see you here at school!
