I feel so fortunate to be a part of Euclid Middle School it is truly a wonderful place where we are supported by our community as we educate the heads and the hearts of our young adolescents.
This school year marks my 29th year in education, all of which have been working with the wonderful age of middle schoolers! From my experiences as a middle level educator, instructional coach, and administrator, I bring a wealth of experience from a teacher perspective to a leadership viewpoint. As a middle level educator, I taught science, math, and health in Missouri, Illinois, and Michigan prior to coming to the beautiful state of Colorado. I also taught science and later was fortunate to serve as a Building Resource Teacher and Instructional Coach at Sierra Middle School in Douglas County School District. In 2008, I was afforded the opportunity to help open a brand new middle school and become the Professional Learning Specialist at Cimarron Middle School in Douglas County. In 2014, I was named as an assistant principal at Cimarron.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Middle School Education from the University of Northern Iowa - a rare degree, indeed! I earned my first Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University, later I earned my second advanced degree in Educational Leadership from Western Governor’s University. I also earned my National Board Certification in Early Adolescent Science. Thanks to nominations and support from students and colleagues, I was selected a Disney National Educator and was honored with the prestigious Milken National Educator Award. I have also earned the Master Teacher Designation from the State of Colorado.

I am happy to be at Euclid Middle School and thrilled to be working with excellent students, an amazing staff, and a supportive community. Go Falcons!

I am originally from Omaha, Nebraska and finished my HS years in Aurora, CO. I started my career in education in 2001 at the elementary level in Castle Rock, CO. I taught in the computer lab, PE, and 3 years as a 6th grade teacher. I moved to Administration at the middle school level in 2005 and have been doing it ever since. I left Douglas County School and moved to LPS in 2013. I love middle school students and can’t imagine doing anything else.

I attended University of Colorado at Boulder and finished my undergrad degree at University of Phoenix with a B.S. in Information Technology. I continued on at University of Phoenix and earned my Masters in School Administration and Supervision.

I love Colorado and all it has to offer. I'm a big fan of all the local sports teams and root for the Buffs. I enjoy spending time with my grown children and getting out to sporting events or outdoor activities.

I feel honored to be a part of Euclid and look forward to getting to know the great families in this community.

I was born and raised in New Jersey. After I graduated from college in Philadelphia, I decided to move out to Colorado. Thinking that I would be here for perhaps a year or two has turned into living in this state for over a decade. Although I miss the Jersey Shore in the summer, I love the mountains, and of course the Broncos. I have three active children, my son and the twins all attend Red Rocks Elementary near where we live in Morrison. My amazing wife works part time as a Medical Social Worker at a local hospital.

I bring to the school six years of teaching experience and over a decade of administrative experience. Prior to becoming an administrator, I was an elementary and middle school teacher. Three of those years were spent teaching 6th grade special education right here in LPS at Goddard Middle School. My most recent position was an Assistant Principal and Head of Instruction and Curriculum at Arapahoe High School.

I believe that every student and situation is unique and individual. I strive to truly listen to parents and foster a positive relationship with every student I meet.

I am excited and honored to be a part of this exceptional school and community for another year.
