Education-
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Middle School Education from the University of Northern Iowa - a rare degree, indeed! I earned my first Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University, later I earned my second advanced degree in Educational Leadership from Western Governor’s University. I also earned my National Board Certification in Early Adolescent Science. Thanks to nominations and support from students and colleagues, I was selected a Disney National Educator and was honored with the prestigious Milken National Educator Award. I have also earned the Master Teacher Designation from the State of Colorado.
I am happy to be at Euclid Middle School and thrilled to be working with excellent students, an amazing staff, and a supportive community. Go Falcons!

I am originally from Omaha, Nebraska and finished my HS years in Aurora, CO. I started my career in education in 2001 at the elementary level in Castle Rock, CO. I taught in the computer lab, PE, and 3 years as a 6th grade teacher. I moved to Administration at the middle school level in 2005 and have been doing it ever since. I left Douglas County School and moved to LPS in 2013. I love middle school students and can’t imagine doing anything else.
I attended University of Colorado at Boulder and finished my undergrad degree at University of Phoenix with a B.S. in Information Technology. I continued on at University of Phoenix and earned my Masters in School Administration and Supervision.
I love Colorado and all it has to offer. I'm a big fan of all the local sports teams and root for the Buffs. I enjoy spending time with my grown children and getting out to sporting events or outdoor activities.
I feel honored to be a part of Euclid and look forward to getting to know the great families in this community.

It is an honor to be a part of Euclid Middle School and to serve our students, families, and teachers.
I have been fortunate to have many experiences in the field of education, including working as a Literacy Specialist, Interventionist, and Special Education teacher at the middle school level, as well as with licensure teachers at Metro State University of Denver. Within a leadership capacity, I have worked as a department chair and on building leadership teams. These experiences have provided me an opportunity to understand the complex demands of the teaching profession, while supporting the various needs of students and families. I am passionate about working with middle level students and providing educational experiences during this unique time in their life.
I earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin and my Master's degee from MSU Denver. I am currently finishing up my Doctoral degree through the University of Northern Colorado in Educational Studies.
My husband and I have two wonderful children. We love living in Colorado and take every opportunity we can to experience our great state. I am happy to be at Euclid Middle School, working alongside an amazing staff to support our community.
