LPS Gifted and Talented Vision

Our program empowers our neurodiverse, legally-protected GT students with access to equitable opportunities in both academic and talent aptitudes. We support our students by providing academic and affective programming at all levels and with interdependence between general education and gifted education teachers.

Heritage High School Program:

The HHS Gifted and Talented Program serves over 300 students with a broad range of academic and affective needs in grades 9-12, representing 18% of our student population. These students represent all racial, ethnic, and cultural populations, as well as all economic strata. Students are identified in Reading, Writing, Math, Social Studies, Science, World Language, Creativity, Leadership, Art, and General Intellectual Ability.
