Parent Groups

After Prom
After-Prom is a parent planned event for 500+ juniors, seniors, and their guests. It is considered one of the hi-lights of the Heritage school year.  This event provides a fun, safe and alcohol and drug-free enviornment for students and their guests. Students and guest do not have to attend Prom to attend After-Prom. More information regarding this event can be found on the HHS website under Prom/ After Prom tab.

Parent Volunteers
Parent volunteers play a huge part in the success of Heritage High School. From supplying dinners on conference days to manning the copy center, parents make a difference at our school. If you would like to become involved as a parent volunteer, look at possible opportunities on the PTO website and then contact our PTO volunteer coordinator. Volunteers are also encouraged to attend free district workshops on a wide range of topics. Click here to see a listing of current volunteer opportunities and workshops

Accountability Committee

The Heritage High School Accountability Committee serves both advisory and school accountability functions. The committee consists of parents, students, teachers, school principal, and community members. All meetings are open to the public for observation, and members of the public are provided opportunities to address the committee at all regular meetings.

Parents for Academic Excellence

PAE is a volunteer parent group established in 1993 to promote the academic performance of Heritage High School students. PAE hosts an honor assembly to celebrate students with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above. At this ceremony outgoing senior student scholarships are awarded. To carry on this proud tradition, PAE relies on donations for academic letters, pins, and scholarships. This special event is only possible with the generosity of parents, family, and the business community.

Booster Clubs
While parents are not required to join the various booster clubs associated with athletic and student-sponsored groups, it is through strong parental participation and donations that we are able to provide the high quality of programs that we do. We would therefore encourage every parent to become active in their respective booster groups here at Heritage. If you aren't sure if your group has a booster club, please contact the sponsor or coach to find out.
