Technology in the Library
The library houses several computer areas. One set of computers resides near the main entrance of the library. This bank of computers, as well as a printer, are available for students during regular library hours. These computers can be used to access the library collection at Heritage and other libraries state-wide, to do internet research, to work within Google Drive and to work on projects using the Microsoft Office 2010 package.

In the back of the library, there are two computer labs that teachers can reserve for classroom use. (Staff may use this link to reserve a lab.) The Windows computer lab includes 34 computers loaded with Microsoft Office 2010 as well as other class-specific software. It also includes a SmartBoard for presentations. The Idea Hub is available for classes needing access to OS software like iPhoto and iMovie and for group presentations on two large displays. It houses 10 iMacs and 20 Macbooks.

Library personnel can assist students with any document created with Google and Office 2010. If you have any questions about what software products and/or hardware we have at Heritage, please refer to the HHS Technology Recommendations page.
