Services and Procedures

Hours:       7:00 a.m.—3:30 p.m. Monday—Friday

Circulation Procedures:
  • Student ID card required and no overdues on your record
  • Books—3 weeks
  • Magazines—one week 
  • Up to 4 items checked out at a time
  • Renewal—book required, no overdues, no other student or staff member has a hold on the book
  • Should a student have a book out past 30 days overdue, it will be placed in a lost status.  The book will need to be paid for or replaced
Services:
  • Chromebook Check Out for Daily Use (must be done before 10 am)
  • Reserving materials
  • Reading recommendations
  • Color printing--50 cents per page
  • Copier - 10 cents a page
Opportunities:
  • Students may use library media center individually or in small groups before school, lunch time, with a pass, and other class periods with pass from teacher
  • 10 computers in our lab
  • Scanners
  • SmartBoard, document camera, digital projector
  • Kindles
  • eBooks
  • Students may ask for a LUNCH PASS before school time. They MUST go to the Cafeteria first to eat.
Expectations:
  • Students are encouraged to be courteous to one another and to staff
  • Follow student use of technology policy
  • Food, drink and gum are not allowed in the library media center and computer labs
  • Cell phone use is allowed for specific reasons in the library media center
  • Students are not to use the computers for games
  • Follow the CORE values
