LPS Voyager

LPS Voyager Program

The LPS Voyager program, first implemented during the 2006–2007 school year, is a collaborative program that provides an non-traditional instructional setting for LPS high school students. Located at Arapahoe Community College (ACC), the LPS Voyager program utilizes a hybrid learning environment. Students are required to attend on-line classes at ACC where all of the content is digital and a certified teacher is available to facilitate student learning in the classroom. Due to the nature of the on-line curriculum, the students are able to self-direct their learning pace with the guidance and support of a classroom teacher. Outside of the regularly scheduled class time, the students also have access to their courses 24 hours a day from any internet connection.

Voyager is also available for students in grades 6-8. Students are referred by their home school and are seen on a variable schedule as determined by the teacher and the Voyager administrator. Class is held at Newton Middle school.

For all Voyager programs only LPS students may participate.

For more information about Voyager, please contact your high school counselor or middle school administrator.
