What is Field Day:
A field day is a fun-filled, springtime event held in many schools across the country. A field day gives kids the chance to celebrate the school year coming to an end, show some class pride and spend a day being active.

Parent Details:
Parents are encouraged to participate in Field Day. Please see the times above.
Please meet by the community entrance (north) to form a human tunnel as students arrive for field day.
Parents do not need to sign in to the office.
Please find your child’s class on the intermediate (north) field.
We need volunteers. Please sign up through the Ford PTO.
Student Details:
Come to field day ready to have fun and celebrate the end of the year with your class.
Dress in weather appropriate clothing. If the weather permits, we will have water games and students may get wet.
Students must follow the requirements listed below:
All students must have on a shirt and shorts (or pants).
All students must have their stomachs completely covered.
Students should wear tennis shoes for running and athletic activities.
Bring a change of clothes in case you want to change into dry clothing.
Students are encouraged to pack a towel.
* Students may opt out of water activities if they do not want to get wet.
Bring a water bottle to field day.
Sunscreen and a hat are encouraged as students will be outside for many hours.
Make Memories:
There will be a photo station set up. Feel free to take photos of your class or students before or after field day!
