Parents:

On Wednesday, October 31st, we will be having our Halloween dress up day and parade at Ralph Moody. I’m sure that many of our kids will be very excited. We encourage students to dress up in the costume of your choice. Students should come to school in costume with a change of clothing for after the parade. However, please be mindful of the following guidelines regarding the ‘costume’ day. These guidelines apply to both students and parents (who come in costume):

• The district dress-code policy will still be in effect.

• Refrain from too ‘gory’ of costumes (no blood, depictions of violence, etc.). Many of our younger students can be frightened by these types of costumes.

• No weapons or weapon simulations.

• We need to be able to identify who students are. We may ask students to remove masks for identification purposes

Additionally, please do not send students to school with large amounts of candy after Halloween.

We do wish for the kids to enjoy the day, but want to make certain that all of our students are safe and secure.

Parade starts at 9:10.  Party Times are as follows: K & 2nd 9:50 – 10:25, 1st & 3rd 10:30-11:05, 4th & 5th 12:20-12:55.
