Littleton Preparatory Governing Board

The role of the Littleton Prep Governing Board is to uphold the mission, vision, and policies of the school as well as oversight of financial matters. The Governing Board is comprised of 5 parent volunteers who serve the school in 3 year terms. They generally hold their regular meetings on the third Thursday of every month at 5:00 pm at the school. Parents are invited to attend the meetings and are welcome to request agenda items for these meetings or to participate in the public comment agenda item of any meeting. J.D. McCrumb - President - (Board term 2023 - 2026)
J.D. McCrumb is a Littleton native and proud product of Littleton Public Schools. After earning a degree in Political Science and Public Administration from Montana State University, JD pursued a career in nonprofit and public service and currently serves as the Town Administrator for Columbine Valley, Colorado.In addition to that role, J.D. is active on two non-profit boards, the Town Hall Arts Center in Littleton and the Governor’s Residence Preservation Fund in Denver. Prior to joining the LPCS Governing Board, J.D. contributed to the LPCS Accountability Committee. With his wife Briana and two daughters, J.D. spends free time attending theater and concerts, traveling and meals with friends.

Katherine Stekr - Vice President - (Board term 2021 - 2024)
Katherine is a Colorado native, having graduated from Heritage High School.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder and has worked as a Lighting Designer for the past 15 years.  She’s involved in national initiatives within the lighting community to help further change in the workplace for women.  As a graduate of the Littleton Public School system, she’s excited to be able to participate in shaping the future at LPCS.  When not working, she’s an avid reader, gardener and she and her husband Scott enjoy spending time with their three boys and family that live nearby.

Kristin Kemp - Secretary - (Board term 2022 - 2025)
Kristin Kemp and her husband Joshua are proud parents of two young Griffins. Kristin has more than 20 years of non-profit/government experience. She has been the Communications Officer for the Colorado State Land Board since 2016, which is a state agency that stewards a $4 billion trust for the benefit of Colorado public schools. An avid reader and art lover, Kristin previously did communication for the University of Denver, Boston University, and the Denver Art Museum. She holds a BS in journalism from CU-Boulder (2003), an MBA from CU-Denver (2009), and a master's certificate in sustainable agriculture from CSU (2022). Prior to joining the LPCS Governing Board, Kristin volunteered on the Accountability Committee and her husband is a regular DOG Dad. When they aren't at LPCS, you can find the Kemps enjoying all four seasons outdoors.

Jill Davidson - Treasurer - (Board term 2021 - 2024)
Jill Davidson lives in Denver, CO with her husband Aaron, their two children who both attend LPCS, and 3 dogs.  She grew up in the Midwest, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis.  Jill has served on multiple governing boards in the past, focusing on real estate, the arts, and fundraising.  She worked in catastrophe analysis and insurance analytics for several years before starting her own small business doing commercial embroidery and personalization.  Jill is passionate about LPCS's curriculum, and excited to serve on the Governing Board and advocate for all students' educational needs.  In her spare time, Jill loves to ski, paddle board, practice aerial, and play tennis and golf with her family.  

Tony Lucero -  Member at Large - (Board term 2023 - 2026)
Tony and his wife Carla are both Denver natives. They have 3 daughters who attend LPCS. He graduated from Denver West High School and attended Colorado Northwestern Community College to study business management and play basketball. He currently works as a SR HRIS Analyst for Terumo BCT, a medical device manufacturer. He is excited about the opportunity to help shape the educational future of LPCS. When not working you can find the Luceros either on the lake paddle boarding, or at an athletic event for one of their children, many of which Tony coaches.
