Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:

  • Constantly required to work indoors; use hands to type on a keyboard; talk in person; communicate verbally, understand verbal communications, communicate with coworkers; interact effectively in group situations.   • Frequently required to reach, handle, reach 30” to 59”, reach below 29”; carry up to 34 lbs.; use hands to pinch, grasp, manipulate small objects, manipulate large objects, hold object in palm; talk on phone, talk with public, hear in person, hear on phone; communicate with public; read, left hand control, right hand control, two hand control; interact with public or coworkers in person, communicate with coworkers and supervisors, accept supervisor authority, make independent decisions; work outdoors.
  • Occasionally required to bend, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach to floor, push, pull; lift floor to chair level up to 34 lbs.; lift desk to chair level up to 34 lbs.; lift above shoulder level up to 10 lbs.; use hands to write; measure; smell; work in varying temperatures.

Employee may have to encounter: steps, narrow aisles, slick floors, uneven surface, ground level entrance, parking, curb ramps and walks, ramps, fumes, odors, dust. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near vision, midrange vision, depth perception, visual accommodation, color vision and field vision.
