Dear Hopkins Community,

It is my honor and privilege to join Mark Hopkins Elementary as your Assistant Principal. I am excited to get to know our kids and families and look forward to how I can support our Principal, Mrs. Wagner, in making this an amazing school year. I can already tell that Hopkins is a special place! 

For over twenty years, I have served in public education. I loved my years as a classroom teacher as well as serving in a variety of leadership roles at the elementary level. These experiences have grown me into an educator who believes that a great school should be an environment that fosters curiosity, kindness and a love for learning. School should be a fun place where all students can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. 

A fun fact about me is that I grew up here in Colorado. When I am not at school, you can find my family and I off in the mountains hiking, four-wheeling, and taking in all the beauty our state has to offer. 

As the Assistant Principal, I am committed to working diligently with Mrs. Wagner, our staff, and our families to help every student grow and reach their full potential.
