Students Gear Up for Winter Spirit Week

The force will be with us February 1-5 when students celebrate Winter Spirit Week, a second semester equivalent of Homecoming Week. Activities will center around the epic series, Star Wars, and each grade has been assigned a character and class color. Seniors are Darth Vader (black), juniors are Luke Skywalker (green), sophomores are Kylo Ren (red) and freshmen are Finn (blue).
Students should dress up each day to win points for their class competition. Counting will take place from 7:00-7:15 am in the main entrance. Dress up days are:
- Monday 2/1 - The Force Awakens - wear your PJs
- Tuesday 2/2 - Stormtrooper Day - wear at least 50% winter gear
- Wednesday 2/3 - Droid Duos - find a friend & dress as a famous duo (does NOT have to be Star Wars themed)
- Thursday 2/4 - Stars Wars Appreciation Day - dress up as anything from any of the movies
- Friday 2/5 - Wear your class colors to the pep assembly
On Tuesday 2/2, come and support the girls' basketball team as it takes on Highlands Ranch and win spirit points for your class. Don't forget to wear your Stars Wars gear to the game. It starts at 7:00 pm at HHS, and counting will take place during the third quarter.
