They received 671 nominations for elementary, middle, and high school educators in the South Metro Denver area for a Teacher of the Year contest. A select committee narrowed the list down to five finalists and Mr. Calbeck one of them! The winner will be awarded a brand new Honda plus a $5,000 donation to the program of his choice.
