Fall Virtual Parent/Teacher Conference Night is Wednesday, October 13, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
The purpose of conferences is to provide parents and teachers the opportunity to collaborate about their students to promote higher levels of student achievement. The short (five minute) conversations should focus on the following:
How is the student currently performing in the course?
How is the student mastering the Essential Learnings?
What is affecting student achievement either positively or negatively?
What are some strategies the parent and student can use to help the student be successful?
We will be using the same SignUp Genius process for conducting parent/teacher conferences that we used in the spring. Parents will be emailed the form to sign up for available time slots. Time slots have been assigned every five minutes with one minute in between and one longer break each hour. Support staff will print your sign up forms with parent/student information and phone numbers and place them in your mailboxes after the sign ups close on October 12.
