After carefully monitoring weather conditions and consulting with weather services, law enforcement agencies, the Colorado Department of Transportation and other school districts, the decision was made to have a two-hour delayed start for all LPS schools on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. 2 HORAS DE RETRASO EN EL COMIENZO - TODAS LAS ESCUELAS DE LPS. Después de supervisar cuidadosamente las condiciones meteorológicas y de consultar con las fuerzas de seguridad y de orden público, el Departamento de Transporte de Colorado y otros distintos escolares, se tomó la decisión de retrasar dos horas el comienzo de todas las escuelas de LPS el martes 7 de enero de 2025.
Delay/Closure ProceduresWe hope you plan to attend Back-to-School Night this Thursday, August 16 from 5:45-7:15 pm. Students and parents are welcome.
Back to School Night will look different this year as family participation continues to grow at this event. There will be two similar sessions. One session will be in the gym with a video presentation from Principal Dr. Allyson Mallory, and one session will be in your student’s classroom. The teachers will discuss a variety of must knows for this year: curriculum, schedules, classroom management plan and parent communications. You may also drop off your school supplies at this time.

6:30 - 7:15: Second Presentation (either classroom or gym)
