Job Title: Special Education Teacher

Academically rigorous, south metro preK-8 school seeks: FULL TIME SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER WITH FULL BENEFITS.  We are looking for a team player with solid organization skills, strong communication skills, self-discipline, a strong work ethic, love of children, and a sense of humor.  The special education teacher will work with students in grades K-8 and have full-time paraprofessional support to uphold job responsibilities. The job responsibilities consist of but are not limited to:

  • Case managing the special education caseload while working closely with the special education team, administration, and school social workers. Committed to the collaboration of the multidisciplinary treatment team, the special education teacher will work with these teams to ensure that accommodations are appropriately implemented in the school setting
  • Communicating, instructing, coordinating, and collaborating with teachers, staff, and parents about students’ special education goals and accommodations
  • Identifying the educational needs of children and adolescents and providing  individualized education on an individual and group level
  • Evaluating students, identifying and documenting goals, and participating in intervention or IEP meetings.

Must meet Colorado licensing requirements for School Special Education Teacher. 

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Hold or be eligible to hold a Colorado Teaching License.
  • Hold appropriate endorsement(s).

Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Academically rigorous, south metro preK-8 school seeks: FULL TIME SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST WITH FULL BENEFITS.  We are looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with strong communication, solid organization skills, a strong work ethic, and a love of children to join our special education team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students' communication needs and enhancing their academic success. The SLP will work with students in grades K-8. The job responsibilities consist of but are not limited to:

  • Assess and treat students with communication disorders that impact educational learning, including:
  • Language development, pragmatic skills, articulation, functional communication, voice disorders, fluency (stuttering)
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings and documentation
  • Offer guidance to teachers and families on reinforcing language and communication skills
Must meet Colorado licensing requirements for Speech Language Pathologist. 
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider License - Speech Language Pathologist
  • Current ASHA certification
