Administration

Principal: Mr. Joe Hayes

It is with great excitement and eagerness that I continue the excellent work we are doing here at Field Elementary. I am honored to be the prinicipal of such a dynamic and engaged school. I treasure the work I am able to do with parents, and community partners that have helped Field in so many ways. Over the past 13 years, I worked in the Sheridan School District. After teaching 7th and 8th grade Language Arts for seven years, I spent a year as an instructional coach at the secondary level. The past five years were very rewarding as I became an elementary assistant principal for one year and then spent four years guiding Alice Terry Elementary.

My experiences have helped shape my vision and leadership style. I work hard to establish meaningful relationships with staff, students and families. Collaboration and clear communication are vital to me and I strive to partner with families to ensure student success and growth. Finally, I want our school to be a place where kids love to be, teachers love to work and families love to visit.

As a father of two elementary-aged children, I understand the demands of school for both students and families. I will ensure we do everything we can to support the academic, behavioral, emotional and social growth of each and every student. Field has an amazing teaching staff and I look forward to leading them in this challenging and rewarding work.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me in person, via email or on the phone. Again, thank you for the honor of working with your children and allowing me to help them become the best they can be today, tomorrow and in the future!

Thank you,
Joe Hayes
