Administration

Principal: Mr. Joe Hayes

2024-2025 will be my 7th year as the Principal of Field Elementary. I love living, working and raising kids in Littleton Public Schools. Outside of Field, I enjoy spending time with Jami, my beautiful wife of 21+ years, along with two children Noah (15, freshman at Arapahoe) and Charlotte (12, 7th grade at Newton). Together we like to travel, hike and play a lot of basketball! I'm a CU grad (Go Buffs!) and completed my teacher degree and master's program at CU Denver. I'm an avid reader and really love being outdoors in Colorado's mountains.

My favorite thing about Field is all of the people that make it a wonderful place for staff, students, families and community partners. Everyone who has spent any time at Field recognizes just how special of a school it truly is and continues to be!

Assistant Principal: Mrs. Josie Tramontano

  • Hello! My name is Josie Tramontano, and I am honored to serve as the new Assistant Principal at Field Elementary. I am thrilled to join such a dedicated team of educators and support staff, and I genuinely look forward to collaborating with everyone to create a memorable year for our students.
I was born and raised in Colorado and completed my undergraduate degree at Colorado State University. After finishing my undergraduate studies, I felt a strong calling to further my expertise in the field, which led me to pursue a Master’s in Linguistically Diverse Education from CU-Denver.
I spent my classroom teaching time as a 3rd grade teacher. Over the years, I transitioned to a role as an ELD (English Language Development) teacher for grades K-5 in both the Douglas and Jefferson County School Districts. In 2021, I completed my MEd in Educational Leadership at Regis University. Most recently, I served as a Dean of Students at the elementary level, where I focused on creating a positive and inclusive school culture, supporting student growth, and building strong relationships with families.
Beyond my professional life, I am a proud mother of four children who are currently enrolled in grades 4-9. Navigating the educational landscape as a parent has given me a unique perspective on the importance of fostering strong connections between home and school. I am excited about the journey ahead and look forward to working together to make this an extraordinary year for our students and community!
