Girls- dress or dress slacks (no jeans or shorts)

YOUR BIG DAY! MAY 26, 2017
Graduating seniors must report to the south gymnasium at 8:30 a.m. Seniors who are not on time risk being seated out of order (at the back of their section) and those who arrive after the procession has left the South Gym will NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE AT ALL.
Seniors should not bring anything of value to the ceremony: We will have boxes for car keys, but will not be responsible for purses, cell phones, or other bulky items.
Immediately following the graduation ceremony in the South Gym, there will be a drop-off station for students who wish to donate their cap and gown. This is a great way to help another student in years to come.
APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR FOR GRADUATION CEREMONY
The Littleton High School graduation ceremony reflects over one hundred years of school pride and tradition. The Board of Education, honored guests, and faculty wear formal academic regalia. Graduates wear purple gowns and gold stoles to designate their honors status. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that recognizes the completion of 13 years of formal education, and the beginning of adulthood. It is an important ceremony and it creates a memory that parents and students will treasure throughout their lives. Because of the importance of this occasion, we ask that you celebrate this ceremony with pride, respect, and dignity.
Spectators can help a great deal by not applauding, cheering, whistling, etc., when a favorite student's name is called. The noise from this action prevents the next student's name from being heard. We will ask you to hold your applause.
We expect graduates to display the utmost respect to all speakers and program participants. Inappropriate behavior (bubbles, water balloons, beach balls, etc.) by graduating seniors will be addressed by escorts and staff members. If inappropriate behavior continues, the disruptive graduate will be escorted from the graduation ceremony, and his or her diploma will be withheld until a later date. It is our sincere desire that this will not occur. We do not want anyone to be embarrassed.
GradImages: Photographers from GradImages have been contracted to take a candid photo as each graduate receives his/her diploma. Order forms will be available at graduation. For information, contact www.gradimages.com or call 1-800-261-2576.
Families will have an opportunity to take pictures during the ceremony on graduation day from the stands only. Since caps and gowns will be kept by the graduate, families will have the opportunity to take pictures after the recessional.
