Post Grad Center

The Post Grad Center at Heritage High School is a bridge between high school and the future. It is a valuable resource  for students and their parents to assist them with investigating, exploring, and attaining post graduation goals. The Center is staffed by Post Grad Specialist, Joni Lieb, and a team of specially trained volunteers who work with students on an individual basis. The following services are available:

  • Introduction to CollegeinColorado.org & Naviance Family Connection
  • Career & Post-Secondary Education Exploration
  • Resume Building
  • Assistance with the College Application Process
  • Testing information for PLAN/PSAT/ACT/SAT
  • Visits with College Admission Representatives
  • Scholarship & Financial Aid Information

Naviance

Naviance is an internet database which Post Grad and Counselors use to support students with the College Application Process. Invaluable information can be found on this site, including:
  • a full list of all U.S. colleges and universities and a link directly to their web page
  • scholarship opportunities for students
  • a complete list of any college admissions representatives planning a visit to Heritage High School
  • resume builder, which is essential for teachers and counselors to write letters of recommendation and assist students with college application completion
Students are provided their login for Naviance during their individual junior appointments with Post Grad volunteers. If a student would like to get a head start on their college planning they are welcome to come into Post Grad and get their log in at any time. Student can log-in to their account: https://connection.naviance.com/fc/signin.php?hsid=heritageco

College Admission Counselor Visits to HHS

Heritage High School is fortunate to have many representatives from colleges and universities eager to meet with our students. Students and parents can view the list of colleges and universities scheduled to visit Heritage through the student's Naviance account. If you do not have your account information you may enter as a guest.

Times and dates of individual visits are also posted weekly in the Counseling window as well as the In The Know newsletter. Students should check with the Post Grad Center for the listing of any schools they may be interested in meeting with. Students need to sign up on their Naviance account for the visit as well as check with any teachers if they will be missing class. This is an exciting time for juniors and seniors and we encourage students to meet directly with these admissions officials!
