Options High School is designed to serve students who are currently attending another high school within Littleton Public Schools. Interested students need to contact a counselor at their home school to receive an application, and arrange for an interview with Options.
Options High School is an alternative program for LPS high school students, grades 9-12.
(6th-8th Grades)
Options Middle School is designed to meet the needs of unique learners by providing a variety of approaches and activities. The core of the program is a skill-based curriculum specifically created to promote maximum success for those learners. Contact home school for consideration for placement in Options Middle School.
OMS serves 6th-8th grade students enrolled in Littleton Public Schools.
Phoenix Program (10-12) is designed to serve students who have been expelled from their LPS home school and students that are at a high risk of being expelled. Special considerations are taken into account before a student is recommended for an at-risk placement that typically comes from a student's home high school. School and district administrators will determine if a Phoenix placement is appropriate.
Phoenix Progam (10th-12th) is a unique program that runs Monday through Friday 8:40am-2:00pm and also requires students to work on their academics outside of those hours.
PROGRAM MISSION & GOALS
Students will need to demonstrate steady academic progress by earning the credits needed to meet the graduation requirement of their home high school.
Self-advocacy through embedded social/emotional support with mental health/counseling staff
Credit recovery as needed
Credits earned to meet the graduation requirements of their home high school
Successful transition into Options High School or their home school
Increased social/emotional/behavioral skills necessary for transition into appropriate high school as well as at work, and for life after high school
Participation in counseling and intervention to provide mental health and substance abuse support, as needed
Authentic career exploration/investigation through visits to EPIC, and ACC/ACTS
Phoenix Program is a program serving expelled students and students at risk of expulsion. If you have questions about this program or you are interested in learning more about it, please contact an administrator or counselor at your home LPS school. Prior to enrollment, all students participate in an intake process that includes a student and family interview.
