When parents call in messages for their child, the office staff tries very hard to get these messages to the child before school is dismissed at 3:43 PM. Problems sometimes arise in delivering messages, so we are asking for your help. First of all, please discuss special circumstances that will be different from the normal dismissal process with your child before they leave for school and send an email to the teacher and Lenski office staff (jvogel[at]lps.k12.co[dot]us and psimpson[at]lps.k12.co[dot]us) explaining these special circumstances. Second, if something comes up during the day, please try to call the school before 3:15 PM. We will try our best to deliver messages received after 3:15, but due to the volume of calls and visitors in the office, we cannot guarantee the child will receive it. Finally, your child will need permission FROM THE OFFICE to ride the bus if it is different from their regular bus or they are not a regular bus rider. They need to bring the note to the office and we will give them a permission slip to hand to the driver. Thank you for your understanding and assistance.
