Field Day is coming up on May 14th!  Lenski Students (K-5) will be participating in Lenski's Field Day in early May!

Coach Wilson and the staff have been working very hard to improve our field day schedule. This year all grades will have Field Day on the same day. The events have been shortened by 5 minutes, the breaks have been integrated into the event rotations and the long lunch has been removed from the schedule allowing all grades to get all events completed in half a day. Benefits of this change are:
  • Staff and 5th graders are able to fill the volunteer positions leaving parents free to enjoy the day with their children.
  • Students will have an opportunity to try out for leadership roles: 5th graders helping with K-2 Field Day events and 3rd, 4th and 5th graders as the two Field Day class captains.
  • In the case of inclement weather, rescheduling the event is less disruptive as volunteers will be at school no matter which day Field Day actually occurs.
  • Parents with students in several grade levels do not need to take multiple days off work or choose which student to watch.
Click here for Coach Wilson's Letter to Parents detailing the schedules, events, what to bring, lunch, attire and more.  As always, Field Day's objectives are promoting SPORTSMANSHIP, an ACTIVE LIFESTYLE and lots of FUN!! Please join us for your child's Lenski Field Day.

Listed below are the schedules, events and other details. I hope you will be able to join us for this
very exciting day!
