Parent/Teacher Conferences are held twice a year at Heritage High School. In the fall, conferences are held on two consecutive nights in mid October. In the spring, conferences are held on one night - generally the first or second Thursday in March. Conferences run from 4 to 7:30 p.m. (Please note: 2017 Spring Conferences will be held Thursday, March 9.)
Most teachers are arranged alphabetically in the Main Gym with their names posted on their tables; a list of teacher locations is available in the Main Office. Learning Support teachers will be located in their offices on the first floor. In addition, counselors will be available in their offices, and administrators circulate in order to assist parents. Most in-season coaches will not be available until after practice at about 5:30 p.m.
Parents are encouraged to check students' grades through the Infinite Campus Portal and print out grade summaries for any classes they are particularly concerned about. Copies will be available in the Main Office for those who forget or cannot print them.
To assist parents in gaining the most from conferences, please consider these three pointers:
The HHS faculty is eager to work with all parents and support each student's success. We hope you will join us for an opportunity to spend five minutes with each of your student's teachers.
