Senior Citizen Tax Rebate Program

Littteton Public Schools’ Senior Citizen Tax Rebate Program consists of men and women over the age of 60 who earn a rebate toward their Arapahoe County property taxes by volunteering in our district. Participants inspire and complement the student learning experience. They are active seniors who come from a wide variety of backgrounds with limitless skills and life experiences to share. Our seniors strengthen the link between generations.

To be eligible for the Tax Rebate Program, one must be:

  • 60 years of age or older
  • Homeowner or current spouse reside within the Littleton Public Schools attendance area
  • Occupy the property for which the taxes are paid
  • Present a copy of the most current tax notice upon application to the program

For your convenience, download the Senior Citizen Tax Rebate Program application and a Permission to do a Background Check form. When you have the application completed, call Pam Hubbard, program coordinator, to set up an appointment to discuss opportunities in Littleton Public Schools.

Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS)

On any given school day, hundreds of parents, grandparents, senior citizens, and community members volunteer in Littleton Public Schools. As tabulated in July 2014, there were 190,805 hours donated by members of our community, which in turn calculates to $2,000,400 of voluntary contributions.

We ask all community members who would like to volunteer at LPS (who are not the parent or guardian of one of our students) to fill out a Volunteer Information Form. For the protection of our students, please provide us with the name and complete address of 3 references we may contact. For your convenience, download the volunteer information sheet and background release form. When completed, please send form to:
