Please join us on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. for Kindergarten Information Night. This is open to all parents who would like to know more about the kindergarten at Sandburg Elementary School for the 2023-2024 school year. It is a great opportunity to meet our teachers and learn about the details for registration. We will also share information about our before and after-school child care program, Mountain Lion Club (SACC).

Kindergarten Buddy Day 2024
All registered incoming 2024-2025 Kindergarteners will be invited to come to Sandburg on May 2, 2024, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am to meet the Kindergarten teachers. The students will spend time with current Kindergarteners and the Kindergarten teacher. Parents will stay at school and have an information session with the principal, Keri McCabe, and assistant principal, Julie Mathews.
Kindergarten assessments for the 2024-2025 school year will take place at Sandburg on August 13 & 14 the sign-up for these assessments will be available in July 2024 and sent to families via email.
The first day of school for our kindergartners will be Thursday, August 15, 2024.
