2017-2018 School Year Ballot Information
All ballots must be submitted by Monday, May 8th at 4:00 p.m.
The LPS Board of Education is committed to maintaining a strong accountability program in each school. The Carl Sandburg School Accountability Committee (CSSAC), in keeping with the LPS Board Policy, serves both as the School Advisory Council and as the School Accountability Committee. This committee:
Assists the Principal and faculty in the accomplishment of the school and district goals and priorities through the development of the School Improvement Plan.
Provides input to the Principal in the allocation of resources to accomplish the school’s goals through weighted staffing and the annual budget.
Assists the Principal and faculty in communicating the school’s plans and accomplishments to the community.
For the 2017-2018 school year the Committee is looking for four new Parent Members. Please place your votes on the form at the bottom of this page. All Sandburg parents are eligible voters. A biographical sketch for each nominee has been included in the link below for your review.
