WHO: Parents and Families of Sandburg Students K through 5th Grades
WHEN: Tuesday, October 31
Kindergarten 10:45 a.m.
Grades 1st – 5th 3:00 p.m.
WHERE: Sandburg south playground (Inclement weather - Gym and Cafeteria)
WHAT: All parade viewers and parent volunteers must enter through the school’s front lobby and check in at the front desk. If weather permits, we will conduct and observe the parade on the south playground. If not, we will observe the parade from the gym or cafeteria.
REMINDERS and Requests:
- The Sandburg Halloween Parade continues as a tradition at our school thanks to the cooperation of staff and parents. It is not meant to take the place of your family’s Halloween celebration custom.
- In grades 1st -5th, costumes should NOT be worn to school. Teachers will provide time for students to get in their costumes prior to the parade.
- No threatening, ghoulish, or risqué costumes will be permitted in the Sandburg Halloween parade. If you have questions, please ask the office before sending your child with his/her costume.
- No weapons, replicas of weapons, or items that could create a safety concern will be allowed in the Sandburg Halloween parade.
