(posted Nov. 7 @ 2:17 p.m.) ALL LPS ACTIVITIES CANCELED THURS; SCHOOLS CLOSED FRI. All after-school activities scheduled for Nov 7 are canceled due to severe weather predicted for our area. All schools are closed Fri, Nov 8. All school-sponsored activities are also canceled or rescheduled. TODAS LAS ACTIVIDADES DE LPS QUEDAN CANCELADAS EL JUEVES; LAS ESCUELAS DE LPS ESTÁN CERRADAS EL VIERNES. Todas las actividades de después de la escuela programadas para el 7 de noviembre quedan canceladas debido a la severidad del tiempo pronosticado para nuestra zona. Todas las escuelas están cerradas el viernes 8 de noviembre. Todas las actividades patrocinadas por las escuelas también quedan canceladas o reprogramadas.

The 2024 Kids Heart Challenge is here!!!

 

Parents and Guardians, 

We are excited to kick off the 2024 Kids Heart Challenge! Your student is becoming a Heart Hero by taking care of their own heart, spreading the message of the American Heart Association, and having the opportunity to donate $15 to help raise funds for lifesaving research. This is 100% voluntary, you do not have to participate in the donation. Starting January 29th and ending February 12th, any student who is able to donate $15 will receive an official Heart Challenge Jump Rope, Heart Hero Keychains, and will have their name displayed on the "Heart Hero Board" inside the gym.  All money needs to be given to Mr. Rowe, with checks made payable to The American Heart Association.
