The fall weather is getting colder, please be sure that your child wears appropriate clothing
for the weather. Our practice is that we will have outside recess unless it is 20 degrees or
colder; or if there is a large amount of precipitation. In order for students to play in the
snow, they must have boots on their feet. A good rule to follow
when deciding on clothing for the day is to dress in layers. It is always easier to take
layers off than to add layers you didn’t think you would need. Also, please label
sweatshirts and jackets with your child’s name. Before we donate clothing to a local
charity we always go through the items and if they have a name on them, we make sure to get them back to the
owner.
