Dear Sandburg parents and guardians,
In our inaugural year of the Comprehensive School Climate Inventory (CSCI) survey, almost 3,000 parents participated in our ongoing effort to promote a safe and healthy culture in Littleton Public Schools by sharing their voices. To those of you who participated in last year’s survey, we greatly value your feedback and continue to utilize your insights to shape the future of Sandburg. We are also eager to welcome new parent voices to this year’s CSCI.
In association with Colorado Safe Schools Month, we are inviting you to share your opinions about the culture and climate at Sandburg through the CSCI. The survey window begins on October 16, 2017 and ends on November 18, 2017, and we will collect feedback from students (grades 3-12), staff, and parents about school environments all across the district.
We believe that gathering feedback about school climate helps guide our efforts to provide supportive learning environments for all students, and you play an important role in this process. If you have children at multiple schools, you can choose to complete a survey for each school or choose the school where you would most like to share your voice. If you have more than one child at the same school, you need only complete one survey.
Please click here to complete your survey. Gretta Cutler is our school-based survey coordinator and will be available to answer any of your questions. Also, to view summary reports of last year’s results, please click this link.
Once you complete the survey, we invite all parents to complete & return the half-sheet of paper you will find in your child’s Friday Folder or you can find it here. Returning the completed half-sheet will enter you into a weekly drawing for a gift card – slips turned by Thursday 10/19, 10/26, 11/2 & 11/9 will be eligible for drawings held on Friday 10/20, 10/27, 11/3 & 11/10.
We are grateful for your continued participation and support of this valuable opportunity. Please contact us with any questions.
Sincerely,
Karen Tarbell
