You are cordially invited to attend the 5th Grade Continuation Ceremony on Friday, May 26th at 1:00 p.m. Please join us to honor our students as we prepare to send them to middle school. The ceremony will be held in our gymnasium. Parents, family and friends - the gymnasium will be open for seating at 12:30 p.m.
We ask that you allow other Sandburg students (siblings) to stay in their classrooms to have time with their teacher.
To honor all 5th grade students, as well as students and staff who will not be returning, we will continue the traditional walk with a new twist. Students and staff will line the hallways, from the Rootabaga kiva to the gymnasium, to celebrate those in the walk. The walk will start at 12:45 and will conclude in the gymnasium where parents, family & friends will be awaiting the arrival of the 5th graders. At this time, other students will return to their classrooms to end their day.
After the ceremony, we will be offering light refreshments. Thank you for partnering with us.
