Littleton High School is Winning!

Boys Cross Country

Littleton High School's boys cross country team won the Jeffco 4A League Championship on October 11 in stunning fashion. There was just a one-point difference between LHS’s team and Conifer, the race runner-up. This breaks a drought of about five years when LHS would finish second in the League - most often to Conifer but once to Valor before they moved up to 5A.

The winning boys team includes (listed from left to right in the group photo) Tyler West (freshman), Dan Grady (senior), Rowan Ingraham (sophomore), Jonas Fontaine (freshman), Kaden Pullar (senior), Hank Chojnacki (sophomore), and Luke Suro (senior).

Hank turned in the fastest time of anyone on the course that day. He ran the 5K in 16:42.70. The rest of the team’s results were:

Kaden Pullar: 17:02.00
Luke Suro: 17:43.10
Rowan Ingraham: 17:47.80
Tyler West: 17:53.90
Daniel Grady: 18:16.30

Congratulations to the LHS boys cross country team on seeing their hard work pay off!

Marching Band

The Pride of Littleton marching band recently placed first overall at the Colorado Bandmasters’ Association (CBA) 2A-4A Metro Regional Competition! This is one of the qualifying events for the State Marching Band Championships, which will be held Friday and Saturday, October 27 and 28, at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.

Congratulations to the Pride of Littleton marching band, and good luck at State!
