Euclid Middle School Students Shine in CU Middle Honor Band

Littleton Public Schools is proud to announce that three talented musicians from Euclid Middle School, Ella Wicoff (alto saxophone), Julian Perry (tuba), and Tyler Grantham (trombone), were selected to participate in the prestigious CU Middle Honor Band, showcasing the best young musicians from across the state of Colorado.

The CU Middle Honor Band, often considered an "All State" ensemble for middle-level musicians, is a highly competitive band that allows young talents to perform alongside their peers from other schools. This year's event took place at the University of Colorado Boulder, with intensive rehearsals and a final performance held on February 23–24 in CU’s Macky Auditorium.

Their teacher, Mr. Andrew Holcombe, said, “These Euclid band students had a wonderful experience making music in an honor group with their peers from across the state. It is an honor to work in such a supportive community here at Euclid, and I am proud to make music with great students each day.” Euclid Middle School is immensely proud of Ella, Julian, and Tyler for representing the school and community on such a prestigious platform. Their participation in the CU Middle Honor Band not only highlights their individual talents but also underscores the strength of Euclid’s music program and the exceptional guidance of our music educators.

We congratulate Ella, Julian, and Tyler on their outstanding achievement and look forward to their future successes in the world of music!
