Littleton High School celebrated the completion of their new performance center with a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony and tailgate before the first home football game of the season. The festivities took place in the stadium parking lot, just outside the new performance center, with concessions, face painting, and games.
During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, LHS Principal Amy Oaks shared her excitement for the new performance center and thanked everyone for the time and energy that they put into the project—including contractors who managed and supervised the construction. LHS physical education teacher Chad Koepke and LHS Student Body President Eric Hanson cut the ceremonial, purple ribbon outside the entrance of the new performance center with students, parents, teachers, district staff and Lions athletes in attendance.
The performance center is part of $8 million in upgrades that Littleton High School will see as part of the district’s $80 million bond program, passed in 2013. Thank you, LPS community!
