Administration

Principal - Susan Dalton

I am absolutely thrilled to be the principal at Laura Ingalls Wilder Elementary School; as a fourth grader I remember reading all of the Little House on the Prairie books, making this a perfect fit!

I came to Wilder six years ago with thirteen years of elementary classroom experience with Aurora Public Schools and eleven years of administrative experience with Littleton Public Schools. My positions as Language Arts TOSA (teacher on special assignment) and Curriculum Coordinator have provided me with professional development experience, knowledge of State Standards and district initiatives such as professional learning communities. I also have a strong foundation in best practice instruction, resources, and assessment methods to meet learner needs.

My family consists of my husband Doug who is a retired instrumental music teacher and currently works in the travel industry. Our two children Steven and Lauren have begun their own life adventures. Steven works in New York City as a production manager and Lauren is currently wokring on her master's degree. Oh and,  I would be remiss to leave off Dexter and Murphy, the dynamic mini-dachshund duo!

Wilder has many accomplishments; fantastic educators who continue to learn in order to engage students in the learning process, students who are excited about learning through a variety of technological resources, and supportive parents who help make our dreams come true.

Dean of Students - Devon Reinert

I have been fortunate to be part of the Wilder Community for the last 9 years.  It is a honor to work at Wilder. I started out as a 5th grade teacher and transitioned into the Dean of Students role.  I truly enjoy working and supporting the teachers and students at Wilder.  I am responsible for our PBIS, Assessments, Peer Mediators, and other exciting things.  Our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports system helps create a positive learning environment.

I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming in 2001.  In 2009, I received my masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University. In June 2014, I obtained an principal's license from the University of Denver.  I continue to keep my teaching and principal certifcations current.

When not at school, I am busy having fun with my family. My family consists of my husband, BJ, and our six year old son, Ryland.  Ryland keeps us busy with all of his energy and love for sports.  We are a huge sports family.  We love our Denver Broncos, Rockies, Nuggets, and we especially love college football and basketball.
