Classroom Instructor & Behind the Wheel Instructor

Colleen Miller has been a part time Littleton Public Schools Driving instructor for 25 years. She was originally trained and mentored by the LPS instructor, who was responsible for the necessary successful transition of the DE course from a subject within the school day to a program held after school, during spring break, or on Saturdays.  This mentor's smooth driving test for a student was for them to not spill the liquid in a cup on a saucer on the dashboard (many years ago--- flatter dashboards).

Mrs. Miller has always enjoyed working with teenagers in class and driving in the car with the purpose of training them to be smooth, responsible, defensive drivers.

Part time work has enabled her and her husband, James, to raise three daughters and one son, who have blessed their lives with nine grandchildren, three of whom are now licensed drivers.
