Community Resource Expo

East Community Center is excited to invite you to our Community Resource Expo on Saturday, September 21 from 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. at the East Community Center (5933 S. Fairfield St., Littleton, CO 80120)! This event is a fantastic opportunity for you and your family to connect with local resources and enjoy fun activities.

The Community Resource Expo will feature a variety of community partners offering valuable services, including:

  • Food provided for up to 400 people
  • Family-friendly games
  • Dental and health screenings
  • Clothing, socks, and toiletries
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Kids’ books, stickers, and toys
  • Brain bowl trivia activity
  • Local partners’ information and swag
  • And more!

This is a fair-style event with vendor booths, activities, and plenty of opportunities to learn about the services available in our community to support you and your loved ones. 

Whether you’re looking to access essential services or just want to enjoy a fun day out, the Community Resource Expo will have something for everyone. We look forward to seeing you there!

Optimist Club of Littleton

Optimist Club of Littleton is a community service organization that is dedicated to bringing out the best in youth by providing support and creating opportunities through local programs. The Optimist Club of Littleton focuses on fostering positive development and leadership skills among young people in the community.

 

Food and Nutrition Resources

Backpack Society

Backpack Society is dedicated to combating food insecurity among students by providing them with nutritious food to take home on weekends and school breaks. Their programs ensure that children have access to meals outside of school, helping them grow, stay focused, and be ready to learn.

Nourish Meals on Wheels

Nourish Meals on Wheels delivers nutritious meals to seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring that they receive the food they need to maintain their health and independence. Their volunteers also provide a friendly visit and safety check with each meal delivery.

Mental Health Resources

Highlands Behavioral Health and Centennial Peaks Hospital

Both Highlands Behavioral Health and Centennial Peaks Hospital provide comprehensive mental health services, including inpatient and outpatient treatment programs. They specialize in treating a wide range of mental health conditions, offering tailored care plans to meet individual needs. They are committed to supporting patients through every step of their mental health journey.

Economic and Workforce Resources

Mi Casa Resource Center

Mi Casa Resource Center supports economic advancement for underserved communities through education and workforce development programs. They offer services such as business development, career training, and financial education, aiming to create pathways to economic success for individuals and families.

Bridge House Ready to Work Aurora

Bridge House Ready to Work Aurora provides a pathway to self-sufficiency for homeless individuals through employment and housing. Participants receive job training, paid work experience, and access to stable housing, all while being supported in their journey towards independence.
