First things first

Pre Registration Steps

The state of Colorado requires that all persons pre-register with the DMV prior to obtaining a driving permit.

Before registering for a class, you must pre-register with the DMV.

You will be provided a confirmation number that must be entered on your class registration form.

Once pre-registration with the DMV is complete, you may pick your preferred option and register:

30 Hour Physical Classroom and Behind the Wheel - cost: $495

-- Register: Fill out this form and mail in check or money order.
Online Classroom and Behind the Wheel - cost: $495
-- Once you register, you will send in payment and complete the course. After completing the course, see the site for instructions for scheduling Behind the Wheel instruction.
-- Register through the online classroom site, then mail in check per the instructions.
Behind the Wheel Only - cost: $420
-- Once you register, you will be paired with a driving instructor and work out your driving schedule.

* Enrollment is first come, first served and will not be accepted over the phone.

SCHEDULES

Choose a classroom session that fits your schedule to complete the required 30 hours of classroom training.

Behind the Wheel training takes place approximately 6-9 months after the class is completed and you have gotten your permit.

30-hours Classroom Session A

Days: Monday - Thursday; 3:55 PM – 6:55 PM

30-hours Classroom Session B

Date: 2/8, 2/15, 2/22, 3/1/2025

Days: Saturdays; 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
