Preschool Enrollment

2019-2020 New Students

Step 1) Complete the attached forms, and provide the following to The Village at North:

  • General Health Exam: required prior to starting school and must be completed by a qualified medical professional. General Health Forms expire one year after the date of the exam.
  • Dental Exam: required prior to starting school and must be completed by a qualified dental professional. Dental Exam expire one year after the date of the exam.
  • Official Birth Certificate: Copy
  • Immunization Records: Up-to-date copy
  • Household Income Documentation: required if applying for tuition assistance  Please submit (3) months of paystubs or last year's 1040 income tax form.
  • Proof or Residency: Current rental/lease agreement or deed/home purchase contract or utility bill with parent/guardian name and address shown.
  • Parent/Legal Guardian's Photo ID: Copy

Step 2)  Schedule a Jumpstart appointment: Developmental screening and family interview.

  • ​Turn in completed documents and schedule a Jumpstart appointment in main office.
  • Bring your child along with completed Ages and Stages Questionnaire.
  • The Jumpstart appointment will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour.

Step 3)  Complete the online registration at: https://littletonpublicschools.net

  •  For families new to Littleton Public Schools, complete the LPS online registration.  Refer to the LPS website “How to Enroll”. Follow the instructions to   complete the online pre-registration.   
  •  For families with new preschool student(s) that have additional students currently attending LPS, complete the online registration using the link in the parent portal to add the preschool student. If you do not have a parent portal account, contact the school registrar at The Village at North.

The Village at North is limited on full day and extended day opportunities. Eligibility for tuition assistance and classroom placement will be determined when all required forms have been submitted. We will do our best to accommodate classroom requests. However, we cannot guarantee classroom placement.

LPS Open Enrollment Guidelines and Forms:

  • District residents have priority consideration over non-residents.
  • There is space available at the student’s grade level.
  • There is a school program appropriate for the enrolling student.
  • The student must be in good standing, grades, attendance and behavior, in his or her previous school.
  • Good standing applies to resident and non-resident students seeking new and continuing open enrollment.

2019-2020 Returning Students

Step1) Return packet received from current classroom teacher, and provide up-to-date records of the following to The Village at North

  • General Health Exam:  Required prior to starting school and must be completed by a qualified medical professional.  General Health Forms expire one year after the date of the exam.
  • Dental Exam:  Required prior to starting school and must be completed by a qualified dental professional. Dental Exams expire one year after the date of the exam.
  • Immunization Records: Up-to-date copy
  • Proof of Residency: Current rental/lease agreement or deed/home contract or utility bill with parent/guardian name and address shown.
  • Family Information or Proof of Income Form: If your family or living situation has changed

 

Step 2)   Complete the online registration and/or Annual Family Check-in at http://littletonpublicschools.net              

  • For families currently attending preschool and returning for school year 2019-20, via the parent portal, complete the Annual Family Check-in during summer 2019. If you do not have a parent portal account, contact the school registrar at The Village at North.

The Village at North is limited on full day and extended day opportunitie. Eligibility for tuition assistance and classroom placement will be determined when all required forms have been submitted. We will do our best to accommodate classroom requests. However, we cannot quarantee classroom placement.

Returning Open Enrollment Guidelines and Forms:

  • Open enrolled students continuing at the same school next year must complete an "Intent to Renew" form.  
  • Existing open enrolled students planning to move on to an LPS elementary school must complete a new open enrollment application.
  • Students must remain in good standing.

Class Options for 2019-2020

HALF-DAY  Curriculum-based preschool, 4 days/week, Monday-Thursday, school year calendar

 

Schedule options:

Morning Classes (9:00 am - 12:00 pm)

Afternoon Classes (12:45 pm - 3:45 pm)

  (we encourage all 4 year olds to attend afternoon classes)

        

Tuition: Half Day Classes, 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday - $320/month

FULL-DAY Curriculum-based preschool, 5 days/week, Monday through Friday, school year calendar options, plus before and after care if needed

 

Schedule options: (Note: 2 and 3 day options are not available for tuition asstance programs)

  3 day/week, Monday/Wednesday/Friday    School Day, Before care  and/or After care

  2 day/week, Tuesday/Thursday                School Day, Before care  and/or After care

 

Tuition: Full-Day Classes (8:30 am - 3:00 pm, Wednesdays students start at 9:00 am)

2 days per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays - $340/month

3 days per week, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday - $470/month

5 days per week, Monday through Friday - $725/month             

 

Full-Day + Before and After Care the school day (7:00 am - 5:30 pm)

2 days per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays - $465/month

3 days per week, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday - $680/month

5 days per week, Monday through Friday - $1010/month

            

Before and After Care with schedule choice

  • 7:00 am – 8:30 am $8 per day
  • 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm $13 per day

Tuition: Payments due at the beginning of the month prior to care being provided.

 

Tuition Assistance: May be available through the following sources based on child and/or family

           qualification (additional information needed to apply):

  • Head Start: Eligibility is based on child's date of birth and family income
  • Colorado Preschool Program: Eligibility is based on child's date of birth, income and other qualifiers
  • Early Childhood Special Education: Eligibility for Special Education determined through Child Find process or IEP review
