5th Grade

Mrs. Wheeler

Hi, I am Lisa Wheeler and I teach 5th grade.  This is my 16th year in LPS. Throughout that time I have taught 4th and 5th grade.  Teaching is a calling and a passion for me and I feel so fortunate that this is my job! Twain is truly a special community and I am glad I am here for its last year.  I am a Colorado native who loves to camp, hike, watch the Broncos, and spend time with family and friends. My husband and I have 3 kids, 1 grandchild, and 2 Labs called Frank and Beans.  I am looking forward to the year ahead!

Mrs. Lambert

My name is Zoe Lambert (Wilson), and I am excited for my first year at Twain in fifth grade! This will be my fifth year teaching, but my second year teaching fifth grade in Littleton Public Schools. I previously taught in Thailand, England, and fifth grade last year at Peabody Elementary School. I graduated from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in 2017 with a BA in early childhood education and special education with a minor in American Sign Language and Psychology. I have always felt that the classroom is my happy place! After graduating from UCCS I chose to travel and teach for a year. I taught English to kindergarteners and first graders in a little village called Wapi Pathum in North Eastern Thailand. During my time there I met my English husband, Jack, who had also been teaching in Thailand. We chose to move to London, U. K. together afterwards. During my time in London I was a center based paraprofessional and part time teacher with first and second grade at Addison Primary School. Additionally, I continued my education and received a Masters of Science in Speech, Language, and Communication needs in schools.  It is my passion to foster growth in communication, vocabulary, and literacy with students. Even though last year was incredibly strenuous, my husband and I were able to have a small ceremony on the beaches of Mexico and tie the knot in November 2020,  we hope to celebrate with friends and family here in Colorado next June 2021! When I am not teaching, I spend my time traveling, reading a good book, and hiking with my forever puppy Winnie. My family is full of born and raised Colorado Natives, and I myself am a Littleton Public Schools graduate. It has been a goal of mine to rejoin the community that supported me and created such life changing opportunities for me early on.
