Welcome to Newton's PTO

Welcome to Newton Middle School. We have a strong Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) because our community of families and businesses are generous with their time and talents. Thank you. We invite all Newton Knight families to be actively involved in the school through the PTO. Our monthly meetings are open to all who’d like to attend. To receive infrequent emails from PTO, please email newtonptopres[at]gmail[dot]com to be added to our list (or to remove your email).

The Newton Knight’s PTO objectives are:

  • To inform and involve parents, thus promoting a better understanding of the educational programs of Newton Middle School and Littleton Public Schools
  • To promote the welfare of the students in the home, school and community
  • To act as a service group in support of Newton Middle School
  • To represent parent interest by acting in an advisory capacity
  • To build a sense of community by providing the following programs: staff appreciation, fall party, “Run with the Knights,” community “dine out” nights and more.

Whether you’re open to holding a PTO position–or can only donate an hour of your time–to one of our fun, fruitful activities, we’d love to have you.

To learn about current open positions, please contact the PTO President via email at newtonptopres[at]gmail[dot]com.

We need your passive income. What’s passive income? You shop and a percentage of what you buy is gifted to Newton Middle School. Currently, we have three passive income programs.

Amazon Smile

If you shop online through amazon, adding a “smile” beneficiary is easy to do. To participate easily, simply click on Newton's unique charity link:  https://smile.amazon.com/ch/84-1501714

King Soopers

In only a few clicks, you can link your King Soopers/Kroger brands rewards number to Newton Middle school and we can earn passive income every time you buy groceries. This adds up. Some LPS schools earn thousands each year from this program and don’t forget to ask your neighbors and grandparents…anyone in the country who shops at a Kroger brand grocery store, to link up with Newton. See the attached instructions for a list of Kroger brands and quick steps to link your account. Principal O’Tremba already has! :)

Street Smarts at SouthGlenn

Dear NMS Supporter, You can help our school win a prize of $350 to $2,500 from The Streets at SouthGlenn’s Street Smarts rewards program. It’s Easy! Between August 15 and April 30, shop, dine or watch a movie. Log receipts online 24/7 at shopandlog.com/southglenn. Visit shopandlog.com/southglenn to see how Newton Middle School is doing in the competition, sign up for email reminders, plus a link to the shopping center store information and shopping hours. Tell your friends and family – anyone can support Newton Middle School in the Street Smarts program at The Streets at SouthGlenn. If you have additional questions, please call (800) 539-3273. Street Smarts - The Streets at SouthGlenn
