Welcome to Newton Middle School! We have a strong Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) because the families and businesses in our community are generous with their time and talents. Thank you! We invite all Newton Knight families to be actively involved in the school through the PTO. Our monthly meetings are open to all who’d like to attend whether in person or virtually. To receive a virtual link for the monthly meetings, please email your request to newtonptopres[at]gmail[dot]com. The link will not be posted on the website. Please note that all PTO communication is presented at the meetings and included in Principal O’Tremba’s Friday email. Make sure to check your inbox and read this message for important information.
The Newton Knight’s PTO objectives are:
Whether you’re open to holding a PTO position–or can only donate an hour of your time–to one of our fun, fruitful activities, we’d love to have you.
To learn about current open positions, please contact the PTO President via email at newtonptopres[at]gmail[dot]com.
We need your passive income. What’s passive income? You shop and a percentage of what you buy is gifted to Newton Middle School. Currently, we have two passive income programs.
King Soopers
In only a few clicks, you can link your King Soopers/Kroger brands rewards number to Newton Middle school and we can earn passive income every time you buy groceries. This adds up. Some LPS schools earn thousands each year from this program and don’t forget to ask your neighbors and grandparents…anyone in the country who shops at a Kroger brand grocery store, to link up with Newton. See the attached instructions for a list of Kroger brands and quick steps to link your account. Principal O’Tremba already has! :)
