Holiday Cheer Campaign
In lieu of the PTO sponsored Staff Cookie Exchange we have designed a Holiday Cheer Campaign for the month of December. This has been an incredibly difficult semester for our students and teachers alike. We could all use a little holiday cheer this month. Newton students and families can spread some cheer to the staff in three simple ways:
1. Holiday Cheer Drive
We are accepting monetary donations, any amount is appreciated. Depending on the total amount collected we will either provide individual gifts for staff (bakery prepared holiday treats, breakfast of lunch in Jan., King Soopers or Amazon Gift Cards) or we will apply the funds to a gift for the staff lounge, something they can use and bring to the new building (coffee maker, beverage refrigerator etc.)
2. Flip Grids for Teachers & Staff
Please share the information below with your students. Dress up as an elf, sing a Christmas Carol, Talk about your favorite Holiday memory. Teachers love to hear from their students, especially right now. We encourage your student to get creative and make a Flip Grid video for their teachers. Your students are already familiar with how to do this but we have provided Flip Grid instructions attached.
3. Electronic Holiday Card- Please use one of the resources below to send a festive e-card to your teachers and staff. We have include a staff list with e-mails here. These are just some options below all include “free” options with ads or subscriptions:
